Gails Rails Fashion Shoot
Last week on the 4th February I was lucky enough to be asked along to a photoshoot in Ballitore. Someone had arranged for Gail Murphy of Gails Rails to come along as a model. Gail brought multiple outfits to change into, so there would be a variety of looks for us to shoot.
Once the lights and backdrop were set up we had to test the lights, which always seems to take a long time and the use of a few unwilling stand-in models.
After Gail arrived we could get down to business. Unfortunately, due to the number of photographers present and the number of outfits Gail wanted to get through, each person did not get to spend very much time actually taking pictures. This was good in itself as it forced you to focus (no pun intended) and concentrate.
Ideally I would have liked to have more time with her, but it was still a good learning experience. I was disappointed that some of my photos had focus on her hat or veil and not her eyes. I did not notice this at the time, so it is something I will be checking next time.
